The Haraszthy Vineyards boast two sister wineries across the world that take influence from the eclectic cultural upbringing of their founder. The first, Tantara in California, is renowned for the exquisite quality of its Pinot Noirs, the second, Palo Alto in Argentina, produces fine Malbec.
“Three countries, three different, yet complementary styles.” Explains the owner, an Argentinean raised in the USA. “When I first came to Hungary 25 years ago I fell in love with the land, the climate and the quality of grapes here. The decision to establish a winery here was easy.”
Wines from all three vineyards are available to taste and buy at Etyek.
Tantara – Santa Barbara, California
Since 1997, Tantara has been dedicated to producing the very finest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. Located in the beautiful Santa Maria Valley (Santa Barbara County), our wines are sourced from top Central Coast growers and from designated vineyards such as, Dierberg, Solomon Hills, Sanford & Benedict, Rio Vista, Bien Nacido Talley Rincon, La Colline (Laetitia), Linday’s, Silacci, Pisoni, Garys’, Tondre and Brosseau.
Because of our commitment to detail and the finite amount of fruit that meets our standards, total winery production remains small.
